October 22, 2011: I did pretty darn good with my summer reading list, so I figured I’d keep track of the books I want to get through this fall/winter. Suggestions are still welcome!
- The Night Circus
- A Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice & Fire
- Steve Jobs (the authorized biography)
- The Son of Neptune
- Seizure
- One for the Money (et. al.)
June 4, 2011: I thought it’d be fun to list and keep track of the books I want to try to get through this summer. Suggestions are always welcome!
The Red PyramidThe Throne of Fire- A Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice & Fire
The Girl with the Dragon TattooFlash and Bones- The Sookie Stackhouse novels (I’ve only read the 1st one but I have the first 6)
The Girl Who Played With FireThe Girl Who Broke the Hornet’s Nest
The Red Pyramid & The Throne of Fire sound really good! I have to check those out!
If you haven’t checked out the Pendragon series, I really enjoyed that (series is 10 books total) by DJ MacHale. Also, anything by Jodi Picoult I love.
I hope that once you finish A Game of Thrones you’ll want to read the rest of the series.
@Melody – They’re similar to the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus series by the same author but with Egyptian gods instead of Greek. I read “The Lost Hero” (the sequel to the Percy Jackson books though you prob already know that lol) on our honeymoon and I have to say that I really loved it. I’m excited for the second one to come out in October.
@Will – I probably will. I put it behind the two “children’s” books because they’re easier reads. I’m hoping to at least start it by Comic Con
Oh okay, that’s pretty nifty – I’m not that knowledgeable about Egyptian gods so this will be interesting!
One for the Money is on my reading list too!
