NY vs. NC

Here’s a rolling list of things I have noticed that are different about living in North Carolina from growing up in New York:

2/23/09:

• Using directionals (signals) while changing lanes is apparently optional.
• No one weaves in and out of traffic; don’t they have to get where they’re going?
• You don’t have to hide your cell phone when you pass a cop (cop cars look way different too).
• When you buy beer, you can actually leave the store WITHOUT PUTTING IT IN A BAG!
